My name is Georgio Savvides, and I am a Music and Piano Teacher from North London. I’m also the Founder and MD, Pianist, and Composer of The Hip Hop Orchestra, an award-winning group from London that was created with the intentions of changing perceptions of both Classical and Hip Hop Music, as well as the Host and Founder of the Hip Hop Orchestra Presents Podcast, which was created to showcase the Hip Hop Orchestra in a whole new way, showcasing who we are and why we started, sharing behind the scenes stories, the ups, the downs and so much more whilst also introducing some of the most amazing people within Music, Film and the Arts that we have met along the way
As a Teacher myself for many years, I’ve seen first hand a SEVERE drop in Childrens and Young Peoples Morale, Social Skills and Mental Health during COVID, and as an experienced Podcaster myself who has noticed first hand how truly incredible, beneficial and therapeutic Podcasting is, talking in public about your problems and also positive moments whilst lending a listening ear, I’m looking to bring Podcasting into Schools as a way of helping Children and Young Adults/Students through and after Covid whilst also creating some incredible content to help showcase what we all go through, helping them all to discuss how they are feeling, how they are coping, how we can help and so much more to hopefully inspire others to talk about any problems that they may be going through
